So instead of self-experimenting with lights and what not, someone else taught me. The guy in the center with the blue shirt is David Honl and is the creator of a whole bunch of awesome hot shoe flash accessories. He taught product photography, portrait photography and a Q & A. Pretty awesome guy and it was amazing how he puts things together so quickly and easily. I probably should invest in some of his stuff since it gives you such a wide variety of choices in modifying light. O well. I’ll try the DIY route first.
