A picture is truly worth a thousand words. And in this case, more than a thousand. As midterms are coming up, I’m forced to go over all the old stuff that I skipped over earlier. Thanks to a wonderful friend for taking the time and energy to explain acid/base to me. Acid/base reminds me of how aperture is the opposite of what we say/think. As the opening gets bigger, the number gets smaller. So it’s weird when people say the aperture gets bigger. The opening gets bigger or the number gets bigger? Do us all a favor and please be more specific.
